About Mark
Mark North, AIA, LEED AP earned his BA in Architecture from the School of Design, Iowa State University, Ames in 1980. He has proven experience in the position as Principal in management of several area Architectural design firms before founding NorthPoint LLC in 2004. Mark is an experienced licensed Architect and LEED AP certified professional.
As President of the company, he directs and coordinates daily firm management and operations in addition to firm integration of sustainable design practices and educates clientele in the benefits of project sustainable design measures.
His firm provides architectural planning/design consultation, project management and Owner representation services for a variety of healthcare, institutional and residential clientele throughout the Washington DC/Baltimore/Northern Virginia metropolitan area.
NorthPoint LLC also provides consultation and senior project management services to multiple local architectural and interior architectural firms and supports architectural and interior architectural clients seeking expertise in healthcare facilities planning and design.
Mark holds membership in local and national chapters of the American Institute of Architects and Cambridge Skeet & Gun Club. He is a proud husband, father, grandfather and dog owner and enjoys time spent with his wife at their MD Eastern Shore retreat.
